POOL NOODLE FOREST
Pool Noodle Forest, 2016, wood, pool noodles, PVC pipes, house paint, 16’x8’x8'

This Installation was commissioned by the University of Idaho for the 2016 Finals Fest. I designed and assembled this forest with a colleague to create an immersive festival like experience.

It evolved into a tool for expression during the actual concert. People were able to remove the noodles from their stands to wave them around during the concert. This enabled people to interact with the installation in a new way creating a vertical moving forest after experiencing the walk-through forest.

The Yarn Pyramids were commissioned by the University of Idaho for the 2016 Finals Fest. I designed the pyramids with a colleague to make it almost completely up to the viewer to create the art. The pyramids started out blank with spools of yarn hanging around waiting to be unraveled. Concert goers created the web of yarn and with it an enclosed space.
